New York, NY (WIBX) - Your buying habits may reveal more about your politics than you think.

A new survey conducted by Buyology, Inc. says that when given between Animal Planet and the History Channel Dems prefer the former.  The majority of Republicans would prefer a BMW over a Jeep and frequent Dunkin Donuts where Democrats prefer to drive the Jeep to Starbucks.  The survey results show that both sides favor Coke, Google, and Apple, however, saying that some companies know how to appeal to political sides.

Buyology estimates that about $80 billion a year is spent by advertisers trying to capture about 15% of conscious buying decisions.
