Deputies Respond to Early Morning Fatal Two-Car Crash

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the person killed in a two-car accident on Route 5 in Vernon early Friday morning.

The victim, 23-year old Eh Doh Moo of Utica, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 18-year old You En of Utica.

Deputies say En lost control of his vehicle on the snow covered road and slid into the path of an oncoming car.

Moo was pronounced dead at the scene.

En and a rear seat passenger were were taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital for evaluation.  The driver of the other vehicle was treated at the scene.

It's the third fatal accident on local roads in the last three days.
