Utica, NY (WIBX) - Local wheelechair challenger Devon Henry was successful in his bid to complete the Boilermaker in under two hours and fifteen minutes, making him the latest Sitrin athlete to win a new customized racing wheelchair.

WIBX caught up with a breathless Henry who summed up his victory after crossing the finish line by saying that he cannot "wait to get that chair."   That chair, provided courtesy of Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield, is valued at $2,500.  He has now earned the right to use it in future races.

New Zealand's Matthew Lack was the first place wheelchair champion of the 2012 Boilermaker.  Former wheelchair challenger Hermin Garic placed second overall, beating his third place finish last year, the fastest time ever posted by a Central New York wheelchair racer.
