Utica, NY (WIBX) - A five month investigation has led to the arrest of a Utica man for allegedly burglarizing a home in New Hartford.

New Hartford Police say 22-year old Nermic Velic broke into the home last September and took a number of items, including a computer and jewelry, valued at nearly $7,000.

Police say they used DNA found at the scene to identify Velic as the suspect.  He was charged with burglary and two counts of grand larceny.
