Texas is the latest state to consider the "Pastor Protection Act," designed - its supporters say - to keep those whose religious beliefs may prohibit them from performing same sex marriages from being sued.

Opponents say the act would provide one more way for those who oppose same sex partnerships to discriminate against gays, lesbians, and transgender individuals.
