The FIVE South College Drive development center at SUNY Broome Community College is officially open.

The center houses Broome County’s economic development authority: “The Agency”, the Alliance for Manufacturing and Technology, the chamber of commerce, Visions Federal Credit Union, the National Development Council and the New York Business Development Corporation. Some local businesses are also expected to locate in the building to be close to development resources.

Ribbon cutting ceremonies have been held to open the two-story, 17,500 square foot, $4,350,000 that was funded through the New York Economic Development Assistance Program.  That grant was actually secured by late New York State Senator Thomas Libous.
