BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — A former New York college administrator has been sentenced for spending state funds on personal items and expenses.

Andrea Costantino, of the Buffalo suburb of Depew, received a conditional discharge Wednesday, meaning she can avoid prison if she stays out of legal trouble for three years.

Costantino pleaded guilty to grand larceny in September.

Investigators say Costantino was the director of campus living at the State University of New York at Buffalo when she improperly spent $14,000 in university funds on a treadmill, a trip to Florida and other items. She's paid the money back.

Costantino resigned from her job at the university in August.
