Expect Delays In Downtown Utica For Genesee Street Paving

Motorists in the City of Utica should be aware of a paving operation taking place downtown today.

NYSDOT officials say, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m crews will be paving through the intersection of Genesee Street and Route 5s/Oriskany Street.

Motorists should expect minor delays during the operation and are encouraged to be patient, especially with crew members.

Remember fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
