F-16 Flyover Returns To Boilermaker Post-Race Party After A Decade

For the first time in a decade, the Boilermaker Post-Race Party included a military F-16 flyover.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was responsible for transporting the two pilots from their hotel, to their jets and back to the post-race party. There they were cheered on and thanked by thousands in attendance.

Utica native, Captain Nicholas Hanna, and his partner Major Steve Wilinski performed the flyover flawlessly.

Hanna is a 2003 Proctor High School Graduate.

Senator Joe Griffo was instrumental in providing the logistical support for this year's flyover.
