The former owner of a truck in Texas is now receiving death threats after the vehicle ended up in the hands of terrorists - with his company logo on its side.

Jeff Oberholtzer's truck has proven that it was "Built Ford Tough," but not in the way that either its manufacturer or its former owner may have wanted.

Oberholtzer - of Mark-1 Plumbing in Texas City, Texas - traded in his Ford-250 pickup truck in November of 2013 in Houston, never imagining that it would end up seven thousand miles away, in the hands of terrorists in Syria.  He also never thought to take his company's logo off the side of the truck.  That is until the truck showed up in a Tweet from a terrorist organization.

Since then Mark-1 Plumbing has been receiving angry, sometimes threatening telephone calls, accusing the company and its employees of assisting terrorists.

The following video was posted by Us VIDEO on YouTube from KHOU in Texas:

The company that took the truck on trade says that it was sent almost immediately to auction once it was received, and it is likely that the truck traded hands multiple times.

To say that the event brings the civil situation in Syria home is an understatement, perhaps, for Oberholtzer who has said that he has been forced to periodically take his phone off the hook since the terrorist group's Tweet was sent.
