Fatal Snowmobile Accident in Lewis County

West Turin (WIBX) - A Canastota man is dead following a snowmobile accident in Lewis County.

According to the State Police, 56-year old Edward Kohles was maneuvering his 2011 Polaris snowmobile down a trail in West Turin when he lost control and was throw from the sled; he struck another snowmobiler who was traveling in the opposite direction. Kohles was pronounced dead at the scene.
