Faxton-St. Luke’s And St. Elizabeth Get Grant For Affiliation Expenses

Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare and St. Elizabeth Medical Center are getting a grant to help with affiliation expenses.

The Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties is giving the hospitals $50,000.

The money will be used to assist with the legal and consultant services for the joint affiliation project.

Faxton-St. Luke's President and CEO Scott Perra says the grant is a tremendous benefit to both organizations and helps defray some of the significant costs that come with this type of collaboration.

The hospitals are hoping to move forward with their affiliation as early as the spring.
