Fewer Uninsured In Upstate New York [VIDEO]

There's good healthcare news for upstate New Yorkers.

An analysis by Excellus Blue Cross-Blue Shield found that the upstate region has a lower uninsured rate than the state and the nation.

Upstate New York's uninsured rate of 8.4% is lower than all but three states and the District of Columbia.

The report also shows that percentage of upstate New Yorkers with health insurance already exceeds the federal healthcare reform goal for 2023.
