Utica, NY (WIBX) - Flags will fly at half staff in Oneida County tomorrow to honor Army Corporal Frank Buckles and all veterans of World War I.

The lowering of flags will take place all across the country as Buckles, who died last month at the age of 110, will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetary Tuesday with full military honors.

Buckles was the last surviving American veteran of "The Great War."

Buckles was born in Missouri in 1901. He not only served the United States in World War I, but was also a prisoner of war for most of World War II. Buckles was the Honorary Chairman of the World War I Memorial Foundation.
