Girl Injured In Shots Fired Incident On Blandina Street

Utica Police are investigating a "shots fired" incident that left a 12-year old girl injured.

Police say a home on the 400 block of Blandina Street was struck several times by gunfire just before 3:00 Tuesday morning.

The girl, who was inside the home,  was struck in the head by a fragment from one of the projectiles.

She was treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries and released.
