Herkimer PD To Host Community Watch Interest Meeting

The Herkimer Police Department will be holding a Community Watch "Interest Meeting" on Monday, May 8th.

All Village of Herkimer residents are invited to attend the meeting, which will take place at the Village Office Building on Green Street at 7:00 p.n.

Chief Mike Jory says the purpose of the meeting is to share ideas with the public on how community members can work with police to decrease crime and make their neighborhoods safer.

Jory says if there is an interest in forming a Community Watch Program, another meeting will be held.
