Give Back On Giving Tuesday

On the heels of Cyber Monday and Black Friday, today is "Giving Tuesday."

Brenda Episcopo, Executive Director of the United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area, says it's a nationwide push to get people involved in giving back to the community.

Episcopo says they're spreading the word through social media.

The online movement was launched in 2012

Last year, Americans contributed $19 million to charities on "Giving Tuesday."
