Meet Marion Davis - an at-risk woman who turned her life around, and a member of the American Heart Association's 'Go Red Survivor Class.'

Marion Davis' life changed drastically in one day. She went to the doctor and found out she had high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity, and sleep apnea. She was put at high risk for stroke and heart disease. All this scary news, she received in one day.

Marion's doctor told her if she continued to live her life the way she was - making poor eating choices, smoking, and not exercising - she would be dead in a year.

So, she decided to take some proactive measures. Marion started walking - Walking Everywhere! It didn't matter if it was raining, snowing, or sunny out, she walked. She also started paying more attention to what she was eating, and making better food choices.

Since that day - The day Marion received all that scary news - her blood pressure and cholesterol are in excellent shape. She explains why she is a part of the American Heart Association's "Go Red Survivor Class" in the video above.
