Grieg Man Arrested for Rape

Boonville, NY (WIBX) - New York State Police arrested 24 year old Brian M. Hoffman and charged him with Rape in the 3rd Degree, a class “E” Felony. Hoffman is alleged to have engaged in sexual intercourse with a female less than 17 years old in the Town of Boonville, N.Y.

The investigation was conducted by NYSP Investigator Andrew Wilmot, who is currently assigned to the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center in Utica, N.Y. Trooper Mark Buzzard of SP Lowville assisted in the investigation and arrest.

Hoffman was arraigned in the Town of Boonville Court and was committed to the Oneida County Jail on $15,000 bail.
