Grieg Woman Crashes After Medical Emergency

A Grieg woman is recovering after crashing her vehicle in the Town of Lee.

According to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, 19-year-old Julie Fox was traveling Northbound on State Route 26 in the Town of Lee when she experienced an unknown medical emergency.

As a result, Fox crashed her 2004 Dodge into a ditch on the left shoulder of the road. The medical episode Fox experienced caused her to lose consciousness. She suffered minor injuries to her head and was transported to Rome Memorial Hospital via ambulance.

The Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Lee Center Fire Department.
