Albany, NY (WIBX) - State Senate Republicans and the Independent Democratic Conference, consisting of five members, are joining forces in Albany.

The two groups will alternate Senate leadership every two weeks between Senate Republican leader Dean Skelos and IDC head Jeffrey Klein.

Proponents say it will increase bipartisanship; detractors say it dilutes the Democratic party.  Everyone agrees that it will give me power to the five-member Independent Democratic Conference.  What do you think?  Comment on our Facebook page and vote in today's Question of the Day:
