The NY Senate has introduced a bill that would prohibit the use of any native name for a public school logo or mascot. This would force four schools in the Southern Tier to change their name.

Senator James Seward continues to recover from COVID-19. He was released from the hospital to continue that recovery from home. He and his wife Cindy were diagnosed in late March.
