Have you gotten your flu shot yet?

This is National Influenza Vaccination Week, a campaign developed by the CDC to stress the importance of getting vaccinated.

Jesse Orton, a Public Health Educator with the Oneida County Health Department. says everyone six months and older should get a flu shot.

Orton says children, pregnant women and those 65 and older should especially consider getting vaccinated.

Orton says flu shots are available at many area retail pharmacies or at any of the Health Department's walk-in clinics in Utica or Rome.
