MIAMI (AP) — One of the Clinton administration's most recognizable and polarizing figures has died after battling Parkinson's disease. Janet Reno, the first woman U.S. attorney general, faced criticism for the deadly raid on the Branch Davidian compound at Waco, Texas as well as the seizure of Elian Gonzalez. Her goddaughter says she died at home. Reno was 78.
