MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) — A judge has decided the trial of a Georgia man accused of intentionally leaving his son in a hot SUV won't take place in the county where the boy died.

Cobb County Superior Court Judge Mary Staley said Monday it was clear after three weeks of jury selection that many potential jurors already strongly believe Justin Ross Harris is guilty.

Harris faces charges including murder in the death of his 22-month-old son, Cooper.

Defense attorneys had argued that extensive pretrial publicity had resulted in an "atmosphere of hostility" against their client. Prosecutors argued jurors could be found who would be impartial and dismissed the request to move the trial as a defense strategy.

It's not known when or where the trial will be held.

Harris moved to Georgia from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in 2012.
