Larceny Leads To Drug Charge

New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - A North Brookfield woman is facing charges after an alleged shoplifting incident at the Sangertown Square Mall.

New Hartford Police say 28-year old Sarah Broedel stole a ring from the JC Penney store.

After being taken into custody,  police say Broedel was found to be possession of hydrocodone without a legal prescription.

She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and petit larceny.
