Lawsuit Against Binghamton Mayor is Tossed

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]A lawsuit is no longer hanging over Binghamton Mayor Richard David.

A Judge has dismissed the suit filed by Daisy Dawson who said David’s girlfriend hit her in the head with a glass at a bar on New Year’s Eve with David then calling her boss and his former employer at WBNG TV to allegedly try to pressure Dawson to drop the issue.

The judge decided the Mayor did not misuse his position.

Dawson’s lawyer plans to appeal.
