Limited Details Released On Heavy Police Presence In Rome

There are still no details on a heavy police presence Monday evening in Rome.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office sent word to the media of the police activity in the area of Runnings and Fastrac on Rome-Taberg Road.

Deputies were initially called to the area following a 911 call just after 7 p.m.

At no time was the public in any danger and more details may be released at a later time.
