A Little Falls man is facing several charges following a reported burglary in the City of Little Falls.

According to State Police, Troopers responded to a residence on Shells Bush Road for a report of a burglary in progress.

A neighbor confronted the male suspect and attempted to keep the man from fleeing. As a result, the suspect threw the neighbor into the door of the residence, causing the neighbor to suffer a compound fracture.

The suspect then fled into a swampy, wooded area behind the residence and Troopers and New York State ENCON Officers quickly established a perimeter.

Following a four and a half hour search using State Police K9 and a drone, 24-year-old Dayvon Hall was located and arrested. He's facing several charges including Attempted Burglary and Assault.
