Little Falls Man Charged In Drug Trafficking Investigation

A Littlle Falls man has been arrested by State Police in a drug trafficking investigation.

28-year old Loren Crain is facing numerous charges, including criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon.

State Police, along with Little Falls, Herkimer and Ilion Police, executed six search warrants in the Valley area last month.

The search warrants were the culmination of a year-long investigation into the trafficking of drugs in Herkimer County and the surrounding area.

Authorities say Crain allegedly used an apartment on Pleasant Avenue in Ilion for storing and selling cocaine, meth and marijuana.

Crain is being held in the Herkimer County jail without bail.

The investigation is continuing and additional arrests are expected.
