Little Falls Police Department Warns of Apple Customer Support Scam

The Little Falls Police Department is warning the public of a new phone scam.

According to the Little Falls Police Facebook page, anyone receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be from Apple Support, should tell the caller you know this is a scam and hang up.

The caller is said to claim that your iCloud account has been compromised.

Police say despite sounding convincing, the caller is simply trying to gain access to your devices or charge for "services."

Don't be fooled if they know your name. Call Police if you don't know how to deal with this issue. Police encourage to have your computer examined by a local known computer technician rather than someone over the phone.
