Little Falls Woman Charged with DWI Following Hit and Run Accident
A Little Falls woman is facing several charges for her alleged involvement in a car-pedestrian hit and run accident.
According to State Police, a bicyclist was riding east on Route 5 in Herkimer when he was struck by a 2013 Dodge Durango being driven by 30-year-old Nikki Cooper.
After hitting 62-year-old Charles Braun, Cooper did not stop and continued along State Route 5 where she was ultimately pulled over by Troopers.
A further investigation revealed that Cooper was under the influence of alcohol while driving her 2-year-old daughter and 4-month-old niece.
Cooper is facing a long list of charges including Aggravated DWI, Reckless Endangerment and others.
