Madison County Sheriff’s Investigate Serious Accident

The Madison County Sheriff's Office is investigating accident that happened Friday afternoon on Route 13, just North of Lewis Points Road in the Town of Lenox.

Deputies say a vehicle heading north on Route 13 was making a left hand turn into a driveway when a motorcyclist tried to pass the vehicle and collided with the car's driver door.

The operator of the motorcycle was ejected form the bike, landing on a lawn about 30 feet from the vehicle.

He motorcycle was taken to a Syracuse hospital and is in critical condition.

The driver of the car suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The identities of the two victims have not been released.
