The team representing the United States defeated South Korea's team, 2 to 1, in Sunday's game in South Williamsport.
Members of the championship team traveled from Pennsylvania to Broome County Monday morning.
The chartered bus carrying the team received a police escort along Interstate 86 and Route 17 in New York state.
More law enforcement officers on motorcycles and in other vehicles joined the convoy in Endwell.
Elected officials and trucks from many of the area's fire departments were part of the parade that was quickly organized to honor the team members and its coaches.
Supporters lined Hooper Road and Farm-to-Market Road as the team headed to its field on Struble Road.
Members of the crowd chanted "U-S-A, U-S-A!" as the team members posed for pictures and prepared to get ready for the new school year which will start next week.
