Man Accused Of Armed Robbery At Gas Station Arrested By Rome Police
Rome, NY (WIBX) - Rome Police are being credited with catching an armed thief who robbed a gas station early this morning.
Arthur Felix Atkins, Jr. was wearing gloves and dark colored clothing as well as a scarf over his face when he allegedly went into the Kekis Citgo at 400 West Dominick Street and threatened the clerk with an unknown object.
Later the 38-year was stopped not far from the store and reportedly was still carrying the money taken from the Citgo.
Atkins, Jr. is being charged with third degree robbery.
