Man Accused Of Pulling Fire Alarm At Oneida County Office Building

A Utica man is facing charges for allegedly pulling a fire alarm at the Oneida County Office Building when there was not a fire.

The Sheriff's Office says 20-year old Oscar Perez is charged with falsely reporting an incident.

Deputies say his actions resulted in the complete evacuation of the building. They say Perez fled the scene and returned about two hours later and turned himself in
