Man Charged With Promoting Prison Contraband

A man is facing charges for allegedly bringing cocaine into the Oneida County Jail.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says Shawn Rivera-Shuler was awaiting arraignment at the jail on a separate charge.

Rivera-Shuler was charged with promoting prison contraband.

He's scheduled to appear at the Town of Whitestown Court at a later date.
