For the second time this year, an individual has been arrested for allegedly disrupting the service at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Utica.

According to Utica Police, 30-year-old Jonathan Morse attempted to gain access to the altar on two separate occasions.

Morse was asked to leave by off-duty personnel from the UPD and New York State Police. Morse refused and began yelling, causing a disturbance.

Morse was ultimately arrested by Utica Police and booked on one count of "Disruption of a Religious Service." No injuries were reported during the incident.
