Mayor Palmieri Donates To Breast Care Center At MVHS

Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri and his wife, Susan, recently donated over $10,000 to the Mohawk Valley Health System’s Breast Care Center.

The money was raised at their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon held in October 2016 at Daniele’s at Valley View.

“We are extremely grateful to Mayor Palmieri, Susan, the City of Utica staff and everyone who donated to and attended the Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon,” said Nancy Butcher, MBA, executive director of the Cancer Center. “Our patients and their families will benefit greatly from this generous donation.”

“We chose to give to the Breast Care Center because we know the donation will help patients who live right here in our community,” said Mayor Palmieri. “We are already planning next year’s event in hopes of raising even more funds to support local breast
care patients and their families.”
