Local emergency services officials say they have not gotten reports of major problems in spite of a significant rise in water levels on the Susquehanna River.

The National Weather Service says a flood warning continues until 1 a.m. February 28 for the river at Conklin with the level measured at 12.6 feet February 26.  Flood stage is 12 feet.

NOAA had said there were some roads in Conklin closed overnight but Broome County officials had no word of street closures.

No homes have been flooded and there have been no evacuations ordered.
