A new exhibit is opening up at the Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute in Utica this weekend.

Monet to Matisse: The Age of French Impressionism, features more than 60 Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings and pastel drawings from the renowned collection of the Dixon Gallery and Gardens in Memphis, Tennessee. The exhibition includes works from Edgar Degas, Claude Monet and Paul Gauguin.

Anna D'Ambroiso, Director of the Museum of Art at Munson Williams, says it's the first exhibition on French Impressionism in the Museum of Art's 80 year history.
