A movie production is coming to Central New York. Utica "Film Czar" Paul Buckley made the announcement this morning on WIBX First News with Keeler.

Emily Sinnott, a local resident with ties to the movie industry, arranged for the production to take place in Utica instead of New York Ctiy.

Buckley says producers are in need of a caterer for the film crew and a conference room to use for one of the scenes in the movie.  He says extras will be needed as well. However, there will not be a massive call for extra as there was with the last production that came to Utica.  More information on casting calls is forthcoming.

Most of the other locations have already been determined.

The story, he says, is a love story.  The movie's budget is moderate but the actors, Buckley says, are well-known.

Shooting of the production is set to begin in June and is expected to last approximately three weeks.

Those interested in participating should contact Paul Buckley at: pbuckley@cityofutica.com.
