Legendary New York Met Mookie Wilson spoke to WIBX's First News with Keeler in the Morning on Tuesday about his upcoming trip to Herkimer College with his 1986 rival, Billy Buckner.

Wilson hit the iconic slow grounder up the first base line that went through the legs of Buckner, allowing the Mets to win game 6 of the World Series.  Buckner took Keeler second by second through the play, that ultimately allowed Ray Knight to score. The Mets would then go on to win the series in game 7.

Wilson and Buckner will speak at Herkimer's 'Green and Gold' event on May 16th in the Herkimer gymnasium.  Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased through Herkimer's website or by calling 866-0300 ext. 8459, by Friday, May 8th.
