More Charged In Gambling Probe

Utica, NY (WIBX) - More arrests have been made for alleged illegal gambling, following an initial announcement last week. John Lazzaro, 60, of Utica, Steven Femia, 46, and William Broedel, 50, all face several counts of Promoting Gambling in the second degree, which is a misdemeanor, according to New York State Police.

Last week, four people were arrested on misdemeanor and felony charges in the same probe. This follows a 21-month investigation by State Police and the Oneida County District Attorney's Office. More arrests are possible, police said.
