New Hartford Man Charged With Forgery And Grand Larceny

A New Hartford man is facing charges for allegedly receiving over $3,000 in a check cashing scam.

New Hartford Police say 20-year old Michael White stole checks from family members, made the checks payable to himself and forged the name of a family member in order to cash the checks.

White was charged with 12 counts of forgery and one count of grand larceny.
