New Hartford Man Injured In Crash

A New Hartford man was injured when the car he was a passenger in struck the side of a house.

New Hartford Police say 77-year old Barbara Hoffman of New Hartford was backing her vehicle out of the driveway when she inadvertently applied the accelerator instead of the brake.

Hoffman lost control of the vehicle, which hit the side of her home.

77-year old Terry Hoffman was taken to the hospital after complaining of chest and back pain.
