New Hartford Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash On Route 840

New Hartford Police have released the name of the man who was killed Thursday night in a motorcycle crash on Route 840.

Police say 47-year old Gregory Penree of New Hartford was exiting onto the Route 5 west ramp when he lost control of his motorcycle.

They say Penree was ejected from the motorcycle, which came to rest in a grass median.

He died at a local hospital.

The investigation into the accident is continuing.
