New Hartford Police Give Shout Out To America’s Greatest Heart Run & Walk Participants

The New Hartford Police Department, whose members are assisting with road closures this morning during America's Greatest Heart Run & Walk, took time to send a message of encouragement to participants in today's Heart Run and Walk.

The department is embracing its new Facebook page to encourage safety today.  Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and take note of road closures.

The safety warnings were part of a "good luck" shout out on the department's Facebook page:

An officer with the department says that they hope to get messages and advisories  across to more people by embracing social media, and Facebook is just one of the vehicles now being used by the NHPD.
