New Hartford’s Derek Bard Tees Off At Augusta Today
New Hartford's Derek Bard is among the amateur golfers competing at the 2016 Masters.
Bard, a student athlete at the University of Virginia, punched his ticket last August by making it all the way to the final of the 2015 U. S. Amateur Championship at Olympia Fields Country Club outside of Chicago.
Bard, who is set to tee off this morning (Thursday) at 8:30 a.m., joined WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning earlier this week to talk about the tournament, and having his brother on his bag.
