New York State Police Expand Warrant Wednesday

New York State Police are expanding the way the public can submit tips on individuals featured on "Warrant Wednesday."

The statewide initiative was rolled out in February, with a posting each Wednesday on the State Police Facebook page, featuring posters of persons wanted on arrest or bench warrants across New York state.

In addition to a phone number, an e-mail address will now be added to the posters.

State Police have made 24 arrests as a direct results of the postings.

Twelve of those arrests were from tips on warrants that were posted.
